SocialWork 2000 was founded in September 1999 by two widely experienced social workers, James Brown and Claire Morgan. Together, they created an agency underpinned by an in-depth understanding of social work, and a genuine respect for it. We believe our service should go far beyond making placements. We want to help you do the best you can for the people receiving social care services. For locums, this means developing your skills and ensuring you feel valued and well motivated. For employers, we're keen to place Social Workers who will do an excellent job, not just fill your vacancy. Moreover, our commitment isn't just to individual locums and clients, but to the profession as a whole - we're actively involved in Social Work education and firmly committed to raising standards throughout the field.
The company has now grown to recruit throughout Central and Southern England - and even further afield - offering a personal, high quality service to social workers, local authorities and a number of voluntary organisations and youth offending teams.
