| Mince pie run |
 During December we set out on a magical tour of all the offices where our locums are currently working.
We delivered mince pies, sweets and a mug. A small token which was really an excuse to catch up and chat with everyone!
Nikki and Shelli coordinated the exercise and it really was fascinating to see the diverse locations and services which come under the umbrella of social work. A real eye opener!

 The SocialWork 2000 calendar is without doubt our most popular promotional item.
For the 2009 calendar we are featuring our team members who I believe are really what this company is all about. Their commitment to locums and to the profession is second to none and they strive always to achieve safe recruitment. We have also included some local landmarks from the areas in which we work which I am sure you will recognise.
The calendars will be arriving on desks at the beginning of January. We have reserved 300 copies for e-newsletter readers which will be delivered on a first come first served basis.

| Business over the Christmas period |

Most employees of SocialWork 2000 will be taking a well earned break over the Christmas period. Our offices in Milton Keynes and High Wycombe will close on Wednesday 24th December at lunchtime. The High Wycombe office will be open on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th December. The Milton Keynes office will be open on Friday 2nd January. Both offices will be open again on Monday 5th January.
We will of course be running a service for emergencies and urgent calls throughout the holiday period. Any registrations over the Web will be responded to at the earliest opportunity.
We have written to all our locums with arrangements for pay. The key deadlines are:
Monday 22nd December 11am for payment on Wednesday 24th December
Monday 29th December 11am for payment on Friday 2nd January
All timesheets after that deadline will be paid on Friday 9th January

We are approaching the end of our 9th year with SocialWork 2000. In 2009 we will be able to celebrate our first decade.
