| Increased Holiday Entitlement |
|
Great news for Social Work locums !!
From 1st April 2009 locums who are paid by PAYE are entitled to the equivalent of an extra 4 days holiday a year. At SocialWork 2000 locums receive their holiday pay by accruing a holiday allowance for every hour that they work. Currently that is at a rate of 10.17%. From 1st April it goes up to 12.07%. This amounts to a pay rise. This will happen automatically so there is no action required by you. You will be able to claim this extra holiday pay when you take your Annual Leave.
